Technology

mmWave radar: how it works

The MK-NODE-OCC uses frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar at 60GHz. The radar chip processes a 3D point cloud on-device โ€” no raw signal leaves the sensor.

Privacy by design

No camera. No image. No biometric data. The radar generates anonymous presence signals: person count, zone occupancy, motion velocity. No ability to identify individuals.

Desk utilization analytics

Track desk-level occupancy across entire floors. MeshOS aggregates utilization heatmaps per zone and per hour. Export to CSV or via REST API for space planning tools.

Accurate people counting

Tracks up to 10 people simultaneously within 8m radius. Detects stationary occupants missed by PIR-only sensors. Combined PIR confirms presence at ultra-low radar duty cycle.

Map occupancy across your portfolio

We start with a single floor pilot. Typical 90-day space utilization dataset before workspace decisions.
